Bought for my screened porch along with a clear plastic mounting rail found elsewhere. Creates a clean, eye-catching line around the top of my porch and the lighting is fairly bright and even. So bright in fact that I had to verify the seller's claim that they are dimmable, which they do to get some more natural light in the evenings. They are claimed to be warm white, but are still quite bluish white at full strength. Dimmed down to around 80 they are perfect. UPDATED 2020. I just ordered a replacement set. A year later I moved them to my new tent pavilion. They were fine for about a year and a half. After that they started to burn out. There are large streaks of light that 1) darken the vinyl they're wrapped in and B) burn out. So I have 100 feet with 4-7 dead zones. However, they have been great for 3 years +/- in all weather. I have ordered a new set and will try to order some connectors. Just cut out the dead zones and join the good sections together elsewhere.
