I bought two of these units for my bath/shower. I had one for getting in and out of the tub and one on the shower wall to hold on to with a shower chair after a shower. They must be installed on studs or they will fail. If you have tile in your bathroom/shower you must use a diamond drill bit or you could damage the tile. Installed them my all-rounder, and he quickly got to grips with it. I'm glad they are here as they provide security in my bathroom that wasn't there before. I checked the price of the same handrail at a local hardware store and it was about $5 off.
