. Stainless steel shower handle is made from very high quality materials

This durable, shiny stainless steel shower handle is made from very high quality materials. It will definitely protect you when getting in and out of the shower. Comes with hardware and easy to install. I totally agree with the positive reviews people have left about this product. I like it. It was an excellent choice.

Pros
  • High score for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • It's ok

The stickers they use leave a sticky residue

The labels they put on the pads advising not to use harsh detergents are difficult to remove and leave a sticky residue that only comes with can be removed with harsh cleaning agents! If it weren't for this stupid move by the manufacturer, I would have given it a 5. It took me forever to remove the glue and residual label after peeling it off. I install probably a hundred handrails a year and this is the worst product I have ever used. First and last time with this product.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Awarded in the category "Bathroom Safety, Aids & Accessories "

I bought two of these units for my bath/shower. I had one for getting in and out of the tub and one on the shower wall to hold on to with a shower chair after a shower. They must be installed on studs or they will fail. If you have tile in your bathroom/shower you must use a diamond drill bit or you could damage the tile. Installed them my all-rounder, and he quickly got to grips with it. I'm glad they are here as they provide security in my bathroom that wasn't there before. I checked the…

By mounting it to the wall you can be pretty much alone

Although it looks like a solid support I bought it because it was 16 inches tall and I figured I could screw it to the wall with rivets . horizontally as my walls are drywall and don't offer much support no matter how you fix them. Surprisingly, although there are five holes in each mounting flange, they are not vertically aligned with the bolts. Also, the included screws are virtually useless for anything other than plywood. Hole location isn't a big issue, just drill two extra holes in each…

The perfect handrail for getting out of the shower

I installed this on the tile next to the sliding shower door when my 83 year old mum was visiting for a few months and we wanted something to help her stay stable as she climbed in and out of the bath gets out. I used diamond tile drill bits to make holes for the screws and used silicone sealant around the screws and holes to prevent water from getting in. The tiles end about 18 inches from the ceiling so I could use a rod finder above the tiles on the wall to locate the rods and then hang a…

Delicate grab bar on bath and shower products

I bought 5 grab bars for different spots (4 in the shower and 1 outside). They are very well made and do their job perfectly. Someone there complained that they weren't for cavity walls. That's true, but I've bought several Toggler Snaptoggle 1/4-20 mounts from Revain. This is a relatively new product that is MUCH better than the spring loaded V-Bolts of the past as they lay flat on the base. I used them to attach handrails to the inside wall of my fiberglass kiosk. Worked great and the setup…
