This compact is actually two mirrors in one, one magnified and one normal. The lighting is around both mirrors, not just one, and what I really love is that you can turn off the light when not needed and just use as a mirror. Its the best of ALL worlds, including that you can alter the warmth of the lightening by tapping the light button again! The mirror comes with a usb/usb-c, very short charging cable. The light shows red until charging is complete and then it switches to green. This is a handy little mirror, I'm going to get more of these to use as part of X-mas gifts/stocking stuffers. The quality is nice, and it comes with a little velvet-like draw-string pouch to store it. Mine is white, so it would be subject to getting dirty when knocking around in my purse, so I'm happy for this little pouch. Obviously it will take some time to learn if the batteries don't last or something goes amiss, when/if that happens I will update. For now I really recommend this for yourself and your friends.
