Well I was hoping to redo some Nike joggers but found out the hard way that the new drawstring just couldn't be pulled all the way through due to the way they were sewn. I later used them on some running shorts and they worked great. But take your time and be patient. Threading and picking up the fabric, which probably has some elastic properties, as well as pushing and pulling, is not as quick and easy as it might seem at first glance. But if you stick with it and take your time, it will work out well and get your running tights or shorts back for a lot less than buying a new pair.
