Don't throw away or replace your old hood. Replace the light with this LED.
A good and inexpensive idea to replace the old light tubes and LED lamps on the lid of any aquarium. I didn't like it installed in the back. You will see the lights when you look at the aquarium from the front. The best option is the downward light. You can install two of them with different size and timer with different lighting settings. Use your imagination, you will have a great fish tank.
