Yes, these things pack a punch! Definitely not for kids and maybe not for people like me who might try to casually pop two of them back into a plastic box and then go inside only to have the other two pop out and crash into the two I was holding and the grab skin fold. on the underside of my finger and left a blister of blood. So yeah, watch out for me of course! But otherwise perfect for my intended use which is to screw them to a small board which I then mount on the wall to keep tools or knives within reach. I've tried them on several tools and a disc will hold a hammer unless it's an unusually heavy hammer - a 16oz hammer probably won't hold, but a standard 12oz hammer will. It would probably be a good idea to mount small guns in hidden spots like the bottom of a bedside table, or maybe two for larger guns, but I haven't tested that. in front of my garage with four of them on - I can't get out of the car backwards! (Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but they're very powerful.)
