Great value, great traction.
Can’t beat this traction for the price. Was recommended these by some hiking friends and tried them out this weekend on a steep and snowy trail. I felt secure the whole time. Wore them for probably 4-5 miles going up and down steep slopes traversing between two mountains and these made a huge difference. I don’t think I could have completed the trail without these. FYI don’t throw out the Velcro strap that comes with it! It helps keep the spikes secured on your feet.
- Brought these to the wind river range and they worked great to cross some crusty snowfields.
- These shoes may not provide sufficient grip when walking on wet surfaces, which can create safety hazards for the wearer
