Review on 🔪 DEWALT Dado Blade Set: 8-Inch, 24-Tooth - Top Quality and Precision by Kyle Merriman

I bought this about 6 months ago for a project my client canceled. It arrived on time and in good condition. I particularly liked that they included a chart of which blades to place and the order in which to create different slot widths. Since then I have used the set several times and I am very satisfied with the blades. The only thing I'm dissatisfied with is the case. I didn't originally use the kit as the project I bought it for was canceled. When I opened it up I found that the screw holding the blades in place had broken off. When I received the set this was not the case. In the warehouse it broke down over time. I have contacted Dewalt for a replacement sheath but they will not just replace or sell me the sheath which is very frustrating as a sheath to protect the blades was one of the reasons I chose this kit. Also, it's now very difficult to close the case without the blades or spacers falling into a heap. Since I am stuck with this, I will drill out the existing plastic stud and replace it with a metal stud. Poor chassis support and the inability of Dewalt customer support to give me a solution are the reasons I don't give this product five stars. The case may seem trivial, but my business is bringing my tools to work at customers' homes, and it costs me money if the tools get thrown in the trash if they bump into or rub against each other along the way, and I am there Surely everyone will agree, these blades are not cheap!
