These fit as expected. I received four of these and ordered a size up for each child based on reviews saying they were too small. I had to go down a size (her normal size) because the shirts run a bit larger with the size. These shirts should fit like leather so they don't snag when the child swims/surfs. The head holes are *very* small, but so are rashguard shirts. The material felt different than the other rash shirts we've had, it was stiffer and thicker and I thought that would be good. However, after a two-hour swim in the pool, the elastic on all four T-shirts ripped. Tiny elastic tendrils break out of the fabric and are pulled to the surface. After a vest, they look like they've been worn all summer. Very disappointing and we will be sending them back.
