Validates HVAC Efficiency

I bought this monitor because it had the highest rating to date and I wanted to see how effective a newly installed electrostatic unit and MERV-12 filter is on particulate matter from my home remove. I tested the monitor outdoors and it met MSN Weather's Boise smoke-induced PM2.5 levels; The temp gauge was off for the first 15 minutes, but after putting it in my bedroom for a few hours, the temp gauge finally matched another room thermometer. The next few days also showed that the PM2.5 levels outside fluctuated between "good" and "moderate" and "bad" while the smoke drifted through the city, the PM2.5 levels in my bedroom were always between 9 and scored 12 ('good'), so I'm happy with the monitor and the MERV-12 filter and electrostatic generator in my HVAC system. I've also noticed that after 30 minutes of training on the rowing machine, the CO2 levels in the bedroom jumped up and returned to normal levels after a short time. Not that I'm worried, but it's another sign that the monitor is working. So far I'm confident in the good air quality in my house as smoke from the wildfires in Oregon and California pollutes the air outside.
