They were insanely expensive for 80 sheets but the numerous 4+ star reviews convinced me as I've been using Bounce for over 30 years now (less than the last 20 since I switched to a vinegar rinse plus balls of wool in the dryer). Meyer's Clean Day Dryer Sheets smell great before you open the box, but they definitely lose some of their flavor after the box is opened. Also, they left absolutely no odor on our items, particularly a small number of acrylic fleece sweatshirts and lounge pants that I usually use dryer sheets on to reduce static. Mrs. Meyers Dry Sheets are really effective at reducing static to an acceptable level (about 80% reduction, but still not a sticky fleece), while Bounce Dye Sheets reduce and maintain static by 100% while providing a pleasant, lingering scent maintain. , and more product per dollar to download. I don't use fabric softener (liquids or wipes) enough to say if one brand is better than another in the fabric softener category these days. But I can definitely say that white vinegar works just as well as anything made 20 years ago and leaves laundry fresh and clean. Throw in a few balls of yarn (homemade and heavy) and your laundry will come out reasonably soft with good economy and no added coatings or chemicals.
