I just installed this kit on my '97 4runner and so far I love it! Tons of different colors to choose from. I have a smartphone and use it to listen to music via bluetooth so I just used the app. Not sure how good (or bad) the key fob or remote is. Wiring is very easy and assembly isn't bad either (I only used screws). DO NOT BUY UNLESS you want to drill your truck. use to adjust the lights well. As I drive an SUV the taillights were a little tricky, bit of work. I ran the power wire straight from the battery (like all my other lights) to the plug in red wire for the switch (with built-in fuse) and then run a regular ground wire. WILL need them.
