For my 4 year old. He weighs 42 pounds 3 feet 7 inches and usually wears a 4/5 shirt. He's a little husky complex. I received the xs and it FITS. Not cramped, not roomy. He will only be able to wear it this summer. I wish I could enlarge one to give it a little more room but the xs fits like it was made for it. Excellent quality. I've worn tons of them.
