The container works as intended, the insulation helps to keep the temperature much better and the sealant adheres very well to the nano. However, I was disappointed when I read the sticker on the bottom of the container when I received the item. The sticker confirms that they are indeed NOT bpa free. I'm glad the information is being provided, but I wish I had done some research and found that this isn't a free BPA. It also states that this shouldn't be a problem as the food doesn't come in direct contact with the container, but if you've cooked something with lots of spices/garlic/smoke under vacuum for a long period of time, you'll find that the odor sticks out Vacuum bag can penetrate without penetrating through the seal. The water will actually smell like what you are cooking. I hope that the fact that the container is BPA-free doesn't affect eating in any way due to the permeability of the pouch at higher temperatures. Clarification is needed here to ensure that there is no risk associated with the use of these containers.
