I had an old #29 protractor that was damaged. Some of the numbers were a bit worn and the little brass lock handle was lost. It was replaced by the new number 29. Buy another voice of exactly the same strength. This is a small tool. This is part of what makes it work. Some of the angles to be measured are in tight spots where a larger tool will not fit. The small size makes it easy to carry and the bright yellow color makes it easy to find. The ability to measure both exterior and interior angles is very convenient. Keep the attached card. There are some unexpected ways to solve the occasional angle measurement problem. The problem with a small meter is the tiny scale. It's hard to read (for me). It's worth finding my points though. So many of these "ninety degree angles" need to be tested in practice. Maybe 88 degrees looks okay, but things like casting look fake when they don't really match reality. Overall, I like this little tool for what it can do.
