Terrible design - useless

Terrible design. The sliding arm completely covers the mark, so you cannot see the angle after the measurement. I need the EXACT angle to cut; I don't want to guess if it's 43 or 44 degrees. The return period passed when I finally started using this product, so I'll stick with this piece of plastic junk.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Marketable

Can't measure sharp corners

I wanted to measure a sharp corner in one of my cabinets but found it can't do the same job as sharp corners (less than 45 degrees or something). corner of a large piece of plastic with numbers on it), that piece will get in the way so you can't measure anything smaller. For square or large corners, this works as advertised.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Thing is CRACK.

Thing is flimsy junk, you can tell where it was assembled, they used heat to push the rivets through for the connectors. If you look at this picture you can see where these short arms connect to the longer rivets and melted the plastic too much making the rivet hole too big. So my 90 degree angle is closer to 87 degrees, I measured it at work with a carpenter's square and goniometer. Terrible quality, I would return it if I had the time.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Smaller than I thought

Not sure of the measurements, but this protractor is small enough to fit completely in the palm of my hand. I was expecting it to be maybe twice the size. Looking at this I also understand that metal would be the best option in the long run as this plastic is not very durable. Well, for the price, everyone gets this. never mind it will last so long and then it's time to find a more durable one! It will do the trick while it lasts! If you found my review helpful, thanks for letting me know!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • So-so

When I saw this protractor for sale I only bought it because I didn't have a tool with the flexibility that this tool has. And it was cheap for what it was. Since the purchase I have found great use! With my home adjustable gym bench, I always remembered the "notch" angle I set the bench to; However, there was no actual angle measurement for it. This tool actually helped me figure out the angles for every notch on my bench! I'm sure I'll find another use for it.

  • Best
Cons
  • Only available in white

Not exactly! Don't buy this.

Should have read the reviews before ordering but didn't. Indeed, how difficult is it to make an accurate protractor in the 21st century? how could you screw it up Ask for common tools. Immediately after opening, I set the protractor to 45 and then to 90 degrees as a test. At 90 it is very obvious that the device is off by a few degrees (at 90 it is 3 degrees in focus). If you're trying to use this for work that requires precision, you're going to be out of luck. I was planning on using it toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Zero

Pretty good for light jobs and approximate angles

I am judging by other product reviews. I bought this protractor for minor and inaccurate but reproducible adjustments while aligning two separate pieces of hardware on my bike. The exact angles are not important; but there are repetitions. For $5 I figured I couldn't go wrong if the protractor was easy to use. This is exactly what I need and it works very well. I like that the device is small and light. This protractor is not intended for large construction projects and of course requires easeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • STURDY FOUR PIECE DESIGN - includes brass lock nut
Cons
  • I am writing back

Small multi-purpose tool

I had an old #29 protractor that was damaged. Some of the numbers were a bit worn and the little brass lock handle was lost. It was replaced by the new number 29. Buy another voice of exactly the same strength. This is a small tool. This is part of what makes it work. Some of the angles to be measured are in tight spots where a larger tool will not fit. The small size makes it easy to carry and the bright yellow color makes it easy to find. The ability to measure both exterior and interiorโ€ฆ

Pros
  • CORNER TRANSFER - Use this plastic protractor to transfer odd angles to your miter saw
Cons
  • Available in white only

I give two stars but reluctantly

I was tempted to give this one star but basically it works so I've got it give him two. Reasons why I was tempted to give only one: > Only one of the four scales has a function arrow > Lack of instructions. A dial with a pointer didn't make sense to me (it shows 45 degrees when the arms are vertical). Eventually I realized it was used when using the beveled edge of the main plate, but this could be explained with a diagram. Another reviewer basically says it's worth keeping the card theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • FINE BLACK GRADUCT - 0ยฐ to 180ยฐ in opposite directions
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
