Beyond Disappointment. I received the car on Sunday and on Wednesday it was in the return box. My first problem was that the needle got stuck in the baseplate so I couldn't even remove the baseplate to get the needle out as the needle was stuck in the baseplate. Called and emailed Singer and on both occasions they told me they couldn't help me and that I would have to send it in for repairs. Of course I would have to pay for shipping which would cost a fortune. It didn't need to be repaired, it just jammed the needle. They clearly weren't interested in helping me, so the easiest option was to ask me to send it in for repair. I decided to find out for myself and somehow managed to break the needle in half, which then allowed it to be removed. I changed the needle and thread in the machine. I made five stitches on my fabric and the first problem appeared. After that, every 3-10 stitches, a different problem appeared. Either the needle popped off, then the bobbin popped off, the needle got stuck, the thread tangled, the cover that helped the bobbin popped off, the flywheel jammed. Plug. It was one after the other. I've watched, and I'm not exaggerating, at least 50 YouTube videos on all the different problems I've had, and they popped up anyway. I will never buy Singer again, in part because their customer service was a disgrace the only time I needed their help. This is my first experience with Singer and will be my last. Now I use another brand. So frustrating.
