I have given these filters five stars for their ease of use and their overall success in reducing ground levels to an acceptable minimum. The taste of ground coffee is worth it. After all, even filter coffee is not perfect. I grew up with coffee makers and ground coffee in a cup was fine. After using drops for a couple of years, I bought a percolator: the best solution. To be honest I thought the fuss would be better, but when I put this filter on I was closer to the coffee than all the tinkering. And that's what it's all about: Quick for coffee! Moistening the basket in person and inserting this filter is quicker, easier, and does a good job of preventing over 99% of the grounds from passing through. What comes through isn't worth messing around with a drip filter.
