They are good but regular drip filters still work better

I ordered these for my 12 cup coffee maker as I thought they were made for that. I used regular ribbed paper filters designed for drip coffee makers. I figured these little round filters would work better since they already had a center hole punched through them. However, after using both, I decided to stick with what I was using (grooved drip coffee maker filters) because they seem to do the job better and are cheaper. Yes I need to put a filter on the mid pipe but it doesn't matter. I find it

I have given these filters five stars for their ease of use and their overall success in reducing ground levels to an acceptable minimum. The taste of ground coffee is worth it. After all, even filter coffee is not perfect. I grew up with coffee makers and ground coffee in a cup was fine. After using drops for a couple of years, I bought a percolator: the best solution.
