I have a 2011 GMC Yukon XL 1500 - cruise control was intermittent and then stopped working completely. The steering wheel light came on, but the dashboard light didn't come on and the cruise control stopped working. I read online that "90% of cruise control problems" like mine are related to this module. Thought I'd give it a try for $12 (the dealership wanted over $500 to fix the cruise control). Took me about 5 minutes to swap it out (it's under the dash, just above the brake pedal) - one screw and one clip. This fixed my cruise control - now it's working perfectly again :)
