Surprises me with all purpose cleaners

Wow. Wow. extra wow I've tried cleaning our white baseboards with a regular sponge and mixture, or with very hot water, some vinegar and some dish soap. I've made some tweaks, but a lot of markers from toddlers armed with pens and crayons remain. I read about Mr. Clean on a real estate agent's renovation blog before I put it up for sale. I ordered this on a whim. A week after climbing the baseboards with a sponge and hot water, I tried it. There was day and night. The stains just laughing at the boiling hot water were gone. Unreal. I was concerned that anything that cleans so well must be toxic, but after searching the product on Google I found that it only recovered using a very fine abrasive with a different cell structure. Yes, you can remove some paint from the baseboard along with the stain, but it's pretty minor. It is NOT full of bad chemicals and has no smell. Since this is an abrasive clean, I'll still try a sponge and water before bringing the Magic Eraser Heavy Gun. I'm amazed at how clean it is. Removed old stains that I gave up a long time ago. P&G named this product aptly.

Pros
  • Looks like a sponge, cleans like magic
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
