I bought the lens 2 weeks ago and already managed to try it out at 3 weddings, the lens did not disappoint. I took it as an alternative to the zoom to shoot everything in conjunction with 135 f2.0 L. I was pleased with the volume in the frame, there is a pleasant bokeh if you don’t go far, sharp at open at 2.8, perfect sharpness, the stabilizer works fine, you can get a sharp frame at a shutter speed of 0.3 sec ! It is assembled very high quality, nothing backlash does not creak, I didn’t like that the front lens moves when focusing but does not protrude beyond the aisles of the case, I didn’t like the buttons for turning on the stabilizer and auto focus sometimes you touch and accidentally turn it off. As for the auto focus itself, it doesn’t smear, but it constantly dulls at the end of focusing, the lens seems to be unsure of itself and for a fraction of a second it’s still focusing, it’s noticeable only in reportage shooting where you can lose the right frame because of this, it doesn’t depend on the lighting from the carcass either on the other hand, 135mm f2 L focuses confidently and quickly, just press the shutter button all the way and you get a sharp frame at 35mm, this is not the case if you need a full-frame fix moderately wide without obvious distortion, which you can take both portrait and landscape without hesitation, from alternatives for the price only kenon 35 f2 has it, or sigma 35 1.4 art which is clearly more expensive
