I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

I took it for video, it justifies everything 100. When focusing in the manual, vibrations are well extinguished due to VC. There are no analogues yet, I took a tamron and did not regret it. Got pros: Weight, design, hand-shake compensation, sharp wide open, price, macro photography, indispensable for video. Different cons: - slightly rubbing sounds when focusing manually - hardly noticeable, sometimes onion rings appear in the photo - Minor barrel distortion 0.9%

Tamron was the clear winner for my needs. Here's why: - Image quality: the Sigma is a winner for sharpness wide open and definitely better up to f/1.8, but the Tamron is very good even at f/1.8. Both render well: Tamron shows some CA in certain scenes, but nothing that can't be easily fixed in Lightroom. I personally liked Tamron's colors best, but that's pretty subjective. In my opinion, Nikon lagged far behind the other two. Form Factor: The Nikon is a winner in terms of portability, beingโ€ฆ

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

I bought the lens 2 weeks ago and already managed to try it out at 3 weddings, the lens did not disappoint. I took it as an alternative to the zoom to shoot everything in conjunction with 135 f2.0 L. I was pleased with the volume in the frame, there is a pleasant bokeh if you donโ€™t go far, sharp at open at 2.8, perfect sharpness, the stabilizer works fine, you can get a sharp frame at a shutter speed of 0.3 sec ! It is assembled very high quality, nothing backlash does not creak, I didnโ€™t likeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Affordable price among analogues, sharpness, stabilizer, build quality, volume in the frame.
Cons
  • autofocus

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

One of the lenses, about which we can say - "came out for fame." Standard focal length, you can shoot everything at it, although geometric distortions are visible in facial portraits. And so, in principle, everything lends itself to him. What I appreciate about it is the convenience in the hand: all buttons can be pressed without problems. The weight is not heavy, unlike many others, 540 grams in total. And you don't have to switch to manual mode to switch to manual focus. All the amenities for
