Looks almost identical to a Seatylock Viking chain lock

I don't know what Pentagon locks are. I couldn't find any information about it on Google. They have a website but there is little information. It looks like they now have 2 types of locks, the U lock and this chain lock in different lengths. Interestingly, the Seatylock also has a U-lock called the "Pentagon," but it's different from the Pentagon's U-lock. company name aside. , the two chain locks are VERY similar. The only differences I could tell: 1. The material around the lock case is slightly different. The pentagon has a harder plastic.2. The Seatylock Viking has a keyhole valve that prevents water and dirt from entering. So I would say that the Seatylock has a slight advantage over the Pentagon, but the Pentagon is also slightly cheaper. Aside from that, how identical are they? 1. Both have a magnet inside to keep the chain closed conveniently.2. The locking mechanism looks the same. Even the type of keys looks the same and can be nested inside each other (obviously won't lock or unlock as they have different keys). Both provide 3 keys and key registration service.3. You can insert a Viking into a Pentagon chain lock and vice versa. They finish great. You can use one to increase the length of the other.4. They are almost the same weight. I didn't remove the plating but I strongly suspect the chains are identical. If you're considering Viking but want to save some money, this could be an alternative. Or maybe you want to wait for more reviews. I couldn't tell anything at all about the company after what I went through and their website gave no further information. If your only concern is bike security, this one will lock your bike just as securely as a Viking, but with the same downside, which is its weight.
