Review on ESPRO P7 French Press: Double Walled Stainless Steel Insulated Coffee and Tea Maker - Brushed Stainless Steel, 18 Ounce by Emily Scott

The Best French Press for Your Money!

Among press-style coffee makers, the P7 is an almost perfect combination of form and function. We have been using Bodum French presses for over a decade and I was hesitant to purchase this press only because of the excellent reviews of the units on the Coffee Review website. Boy am I glad I did! The P7 is a brilliantly designed, beautifully designed and well-made product. The double snap-lock filter is very practical and leaves nothing but a trickle of grind in the cup, even with very fine espresso grinds. I use expensive Kona coffee and need a fine grind for maximum extraction and minimum bean consumption. The dual P7 filter is so effective that you can use very fine grinds without worrying about the sludge at the bottom of the cup. Remember - as your grind gets finer, you slow down your print. And the P7 barrier filter is easier to clean than the Bodum filter. After dismantling, simply rinse off with the spray nozzle at the sink. Or use a strong tap water jet. No cleaning required! These are probably the best abs you will ever use. I can summarize my experience with the car analogy. My Bodum French Press is a Toyota Corolla and my P7 is a Lexus LS460. There is no comparison! The P7's durable construction will last a lifetime. But the most important thing is that the coffee is excellent - much better than in the Bodum coffee machine! It's expensive, but you'll feel like you got your money's worth!
