My husband loves this shoe for gardening and the tread is good even in the snow. I had to send the first pair back because he wanted to wear thicker socks with them. The 2nd pair fits perfectly. They replace a pair he wore for at least 15 years. My only suggestion is to have the company mark the size on it so we don't have to worry about returns. We love brown.
