I have found FastFerment products to be easy to use when brewing beer and mead. The bottom drip pan is handy for collecting sediment without disturbing the fermentation process, and the wide top opening allows for good access when adding nutrients, aerating mead, etc. FastBrewing's customer service was very helpful when the fermenter came without the missing part arrived, for which they quickly sent a replacement. A tip is to use enough teflon tape when assembling the fermenter parts to create a good seal - you may need more than what the manual says. So add as much as needed to avoid leaks. . Where there is an O-ring to seal, adding barrel grease will also help.
