Ordered the version without the top shelf. Arrived as in the photo and without defects. One end was barely see-through, but not enough to notice in use (and I'm picky). Assembly was easy and intuitive. It's not a large capacity, but I don't know why anyone would expect it to be based on product specs. This is an attractive utility. The design is only useful from a 12-inch perspective, albeit moderately annoying. The two horizontal beams on which the slabs rest are spaced across almost the entire width of the cover, allowing the slabs to fall off easily. Because the vertical supports taper upwards, they can't be used to judge bar placement, so placing items on the shelf when it starts to fill up (especially when stored in snug locations) doesn't help.
