These sandals are so cute! They are some kind of plastic. They are all one piece, I mean on other sandals they are usually made up of parts like an upper that goes on top of the foot and then a sole. Not all sandals are 1-piece. I really like them, they are exactly what I was looking for. I just wanted something I could easily slide on my feet. I didn't want to spend a lot on them because I would be using them in camp where they would be thrown in the landfill. I chose black. Now I usually wear a women's size 8 or 8.5 but I followed the size chart and measured my foot and the child's 4-5 fits my foot like a glove. My girlfriend ordered them for her kids for the summer and I loved them so much I had to order a pair for myself. I have worn them several times and they are amazing.
