Poor construction of a simple box. The lids were 3/4 inch longer in one dimension. The friction-free fit upper is, as you would expect, too loose. They also don't have continuous handles like most storage boxes. The holes for the finger holes are completely cut out. Usually the outside of the box has partially perforated grip tabs that fold and wrap around the inner grip hole, creating a more comfortable and firm grip. Not with these. Expensive, cheaply made Not everyone needs a sturdy box that can handle the weight of vinyl records, but if that's what you're looking for then this isn't for you.
