I ordered a pair of these Irwin C-Clamps and they looked used when they arrived. The paint has peeled off in several places. The chipped paint stuck to my palm better than it did to metal. I asked for a replacement and when they arrived the paint was peeling too and one of them had a screw twisted so it almost touched the bottom panel. I also found the screws on them to be quite difficult to turn, indicating a lack of manufacturing precision. Irwin had a good reputation, but that sucks.
Pros
- Deep neck allows use of a smaller clamp in a larger project. The large handle makes it easier to apply more clamping force with less hand fatigue.
Cons
- Not bad but...
