This is a great resource for just having fun with Christmas stockings and decorations. The patterns are painfully laconic - literally every line is missed. And they are beautifully varied, from simple and rustic to sophisticated and classic inlays. There is something here for every level of knitting experience and for those of you who suffer from "CSS" (Second Sock Syndrome) rest assured that these are all single sock projects and no pair is required. I've had a lot of fun with this and discovered that the Christmas stocking is a quick and perfect knitting gift for literally anyone as it serves as a keepsake and decoration and doesn't embarrass anyone if they're forced to wear something - wanted, but not after taste of the recipient.
