Take the time to clean the blade as well to attach the magnet.
The best thing about this set is that it comes with multiple clips to attach more than one blade. Another great thing is the ribbon magnet. I used a food scale to weigh the clamp and then compare that weight. Each magnet weighs around 5 grams, as does the clip. You can lighten the weight for a super fine balance if you want to spend a little time on it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
