We used different blades from different manufacturers. Tried two of them. The first blade cut properly and lasted about 150 cuts of 1″ square tubing with 1/8″ wall before breaking at the weld. Not bad, but others lasted longer. I installed the second blade and it immediately hung on the weld, knocking the blade out of the way. I tried several times, turning the blade slowly, but there was a loud knock at the weld. It is noted that the weld was not ground properly. I used a belt sander and sanded the weld on both sides. It worked fine after that, but shouldn't be necessary on a premium blade. Another order for Starrett blades.
