I am rating this sandal 4/5 stars as it is a good sandal that fits most women. However, I have wide feet with a high instep and these shoes were a little tight due to the non-adjustable ankle strap. I had read about this possible scam before purchasing, but since they looked so pretty I still wanted to try them on to see if they fit me. They sit on my foot technically without any problems; The strap was a bit too tight for my comfort level. The strap *probably* came loose after I wore them for a while, but at $80 it wasn't a risk I wanted to take. I also ordered a pair of Keen Bali Strap sandals at the same time and they fit better with the adjustable ankle strap. Unfortunately I have to return it due to a defective product. (Note: I've included a comparison of the Bali and Rose sandals below as I'd like to find a detailed comparison review of the two before purchasing.) Overall, these sandals are cute and functional (hard to find a combo!). The sole is supportive and the sandals would be very comfortable if it weren't for the non-adjustable ankle strap. Again, I think this will not be a problem for the vast majority of women. My feet are very wide, have a very high instep (as a loving family member once told me. I have "man's feet" :/) and they almost fit me, so they should fit *most* women. Comparison between KEEN Bali Strap and Rose: Rose has a non-adjustable ankle strap; Bali has two adjustable ankle straps. The rose ribbons are made of a softer material. It has a velvety feel as opposed to Keen Sandals' signature fabric material. Both are comfortable, but if the Rose straps fit me better, I'd prefer their material. Rose feels more secure because the toe straps rise higher up the leg. Rose has a softer sole. The Bali Strap has a more defined outsole. In my opinion, the Rose outsole is more suitable for long walks on relatively flat surfaces. The Bali Strap outsole is better for climbing or walking on rocky/unstable areas as the contoured outsole gives the foot a better "feel" of the ground beneath the shoe. The Bali strap has an awkward hole near the pinky which allows the pinky to "escape" (especially if there is a manufacturing defect causing the hole to be larger than it should be; see my Bali strap review). The straps of the rose are closer together, effectively holding the red little toes in place. If both sandals fit me, I would definitely prefer rose. However, Bali Strap is the best option for my legs.
