Review on ๐Ÿชœ SINMEIRUN16.5FT Aluminum Telescoping Ladder: Portable Multi-Purpose A-Frame Folding Ladder, Adjustable for Household Daily Use, 330lb Maximum Load by Steven Barbon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Compact but a little less intuitive to use than I would like.

I have owned this type of ladder for many years and two things I love most about them are the ease of storage and versatility. my current staircase and my partner at home has my old staircase. It was easier to test these than to return mine :) This ladder didn't disappoint with its easy storage and versatility. Disappointing was the fact that no detailed instructions were included. The step control is different than I expected. You have to use the levers to raise and lower each stage, which takes a lot of practice if you've never used this method. I got my fingers caught once or twice while lowering the steps, but I think I got the correct method. I would prefer to lock the bars with a lever rather than locking each bar individually. Why? Because the design of this staircase requires you to block all the steps on one side, then go to the other side and do the action 5 or more times to block all the steps on the other side. Of course, with a little practice you will develop a method, but until then this approach is a bit tedious. As for me, I don't use stairs very often, so I'll look into that. I won't lie, I've been thinking about giving this ladder to my partner and bringing my original ladder home. My original ladder simply unlocks, slides to where you want it, and locks into place. Go to the other side and do the same - it's a lot easier than pushing one step at a time. at the end of these stairs. Since I didn't have the instructions, I had to figure out how to attach it myself. I put a wrench on what I thought was a metal screw already stuck in the bottom hole and it broke immediately. It turned out to be plastic filler, but I really have no idea. There are two screws in the box but no tools. So once I find the little key, I'll get the right braces. TL; DR: 4 stars for compactness and height. 3 stars for ease of use.
