The Acer x203H which I bought 6 months ago as a second (primary) monitor for my MacBook works great - excellent colours, contrast, performance for general office work and when working with photos. That's what made me an Acer fan. Setup isn't entirely intuitive, but it wasn't difficult to set up, but it was basically just plug and play. ATTENTION - MAC USERS - ENSURE ANY MONITOR YOU GET IS MAC COMPATIBLE. Revain is pretty good for determining hardware compatibility, but it needs to be looked up.
