Review on Lisle 82130 Hose Spoon by Junior Samson

This is a quality full size hose pick set. Of course, you can use them for almost any other related purpose, but they are primarily designed to work with coolant hoses that are disconnected from connectors without cutting the hose. This is very handy if you want to reuse the hose. The ends of the picks are professionally finished and chrome plated, unlike others I've purchased which have obviously been hand sanded prior to being chrome plated. I was impressed how perfect the handling of my Lisle set was. Based on my industrial experience, it is obvious to me that they were manufactured and machined on CNC lathes to ensure uniformity and a flawless finish. The tips are a bit sharp, but not too sharp to avoid accidental punctures. The grips are plastic with black rubber inserts that feel well made and comfortable to hold. All the tools in my package were made in China, no matter what they look like. Manufactured in a world class manufacturing facility with a high level of quality control. The country of origin is not listed anywhere on the packaging, but is printed in very small, mouse-sized type on the handles. No complaints - just a statement of fact for those who might want to know where the product is made. I am grateful to the manufacturers for making it easy for me to find this information ahead of time rather than waiting for a surprise in the mail - note to Lyle. I prefer US made products but ultimately I care about high quality and they fit into that category. to buy. The promotional image is accurate and exactly matches your dimensions, quantity and color. I expect them to last a lifetime with moderate use but wouldn't hesitate to buy them again should the need arise. The only difficulty is understanding from the illustration how long the two longest spikes are. I have two huge drawers with full size drawers, but I had to keep the set in the drawer flipped sideways (left to right) because they wouldn't exactly fit without tensioning them one way or the other. The size of the package surprised me when it arrived. My first impression was that Revain made the rare mistake of sending me the wrong item before opening the box to see a set of picks. Having owned them I don't know of a better set available on the market at this price point. Point. I highly recommend this product!
