I bought these to use in projects when I'm not in my workshop. I don't like taking my good tools with me anywhere. The ending is almost unacceptable. The steel is covered with abrasion marks that should have been polished. The bevels are ground so fine that the nicks cut nothing but balsa or basswood. Luckily I have all the necessary tools to sharpen and use them. I have to say the steel is decent quality and should hold an edge well. Update: I downgraded my rating by one star. When using notches, the shanks detached and came out of the handles. The shank should be a square but is a round cylinder. These tools were obviously made by a company that knows NOTHING about how to make tools properly. I will NEVER, EVER, buy an instrument that is NOT MADE IN AMERICAN, even if it means buying on eBay or auctions.
