Works with issues

Ceiling fan remote works but does not dim the lights. The old remote dimmed the light and had 3 speeds. This remote control has three speeds and only turns the light on and off. The instructions state that to use the dimmer, you must swap out the light bulb for an old-fashioned incandescent bulb. The!? The lamp in my fan is not replaceable, so there is no dimmer. Returned.
