Automotive Voltmeters - Gauges

Basically I bought this gauge to fill an empty spot in my gauge block until I needed a more expensive functional gauge for my car so I wasn't expecting too much from this gauge . Reviews and price but today I got my volt meter and tested it at home on my AC voltage source and I found this. It is accurate to within tenths of a volt compared to a high-end meter. If the voltage falls below 11.5 volts, the signal lamp lights up. I definitely like the blue color. I will also say that I have compared this gauge to my digital glow offset gauges that I have for oil and water temp and this reading seems cleaner and clearer to me. The glow-bias sensors have a blue haze around the digits, which I find odd, but the glow-bias sensors have the ability to dim them for night driving, which dims the display a bit, but not by much. The kite sensor doesn't measure and my only concern is that the display might be too bright at night, but I'm not sure yet, as I haven't installed any of these sensors in the car yet, I might put a dark tint film on the windows. Lens to darken it a bit if it's too bright at night. Overall I like this Dragon sensor, the digital resolution is sharp and the readings are correct. The only thing that might change my mind is if that sensor fails too soon. Until then I will recommend this sensor, good price and looks good and accurate. A note: Depending on where you mount this sensor, you may need to purchase additional cable, but the sensor comes with 20 inches.
