I just needed to replace the camera to install the DVR part and although I couldn't find that exact part I ordered it because it comes with all the extra parts (that I don't need). I took 1 of the ones I needed and a suction cup mount and installed it on the windshield. While it seemed to hold up really well, remember these are the "sticky" suction cup mounts that everyone seems to be using now. Days, it does hold the camera (a very light Cobra HD Drive DVR), but not because of the suction, just because the pad is so sticky it just sticks to the windshield. The biggest downside I see is that for lack of better wording, "mount" doesn't exactly fit the suction cup, causing the mount/camera to change position with every bump in the road and not keeping the camera horizontal , but constantly changing its "pitch" or "rotation" and also captures "Jump/Jerk?" videos while driving on rough roads. Overall I'm happy with the purchase as it saved me from having to buy a new DVR just to replace a part that had become brittle and broken but if it gets worse on the video camera I'll look for a way either look for the "sticky suction cup" or find another solution to the problem.
