Review on Cllena Charger Socket Outlet 5007B by Mark Gardner

Received my USB socket in the mail today and used it as a cigarette lighter. The packaging was minimal, as were the instructions. Luckily, it's pretty self-explanatory, but if you're still not sure what to do, I'd recommend turning to YouTube for instructions. The package itself comes with a socket, 2 cable clamps, a waterproof cap and a lock nut. The USB socket itself has 2 available ports, the top one is a regular port and the bottom one is like a turbocharger for your cellphone. To install the socket, I removed the dashboard and then simply unplugged the cigarette lighter. Then I cut the wires coming from the cigarette lighter and plug them into the wire clips provided. Finally, I cut off the receivers, which are on the back of the USB port, and my 2003 Ford is rocking the latest technology. There's a blue light that stays on all the time if you plug it into the cigarette lighter, but you can also plug it straight into the ignition and it won't get the socket hot unless the keys are in. It doesn't consume much battery when not in use, so just leaving it plugged into the cigarette lighter isn't a problem. It's easy to assemble, looks great and fits perfectly. It's about the size of a standard 12 volt lighter so no cutting is required. The only tools I used were a socket set (to remove the panel) and a gerber to cut the wires and crimp them into the nuts. It took about 10 minutes total. This is the second one I have bought in the last 2 months because they are so cool. I installed one in my car in March and now it's in my wife's car. This is a really good buy and you will be glad you bought it. There are cheaper options, but after reading reviews about them, not many people have problems. I would recommend it to anyone interested in replacing their cigarette lighter. *** Please note that I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
