I bought this item because it is more stable and durable than the one on my e-bike. I risked it and when I got it and installed it on my e-bike I was happy. It doesn't bang on my disc brakes, and the spring return when lowering or raising is good, and it has a long extension if the bike owner wants to prop the bike off the ground in a higher standing position. It's very good quality for the price and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a footpeg mounting plate on their bike.
