Review on πŸŽ₯ Enhanced SEO: BOYO VTS10 Ford Tailgate Handle Camera by Darin Schaffer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you want to see the bumper, then this camera is not for you

It fits my 2008 F150 XLT Supercrew 4x4 well, but there are a few small issues: 1) The camera isn't tilted enough to see the bumper or hitch. In the photos accompanying Todd Begin's review, the bumper is barely visible on the far left and right of the screen, but in my installation the bumper is not visible at all. The bottom edge of the image is about 6 inches from the bumper. I also tried the hitch and it is not visible either. If I had known that, I would not have bought this camera. Now that it's installed I'm not removing it. 2) The camera angle needed to be adjusted, it was tilted about 20 degrees to the right, there is no instruction in the installation manual on how to adjust, but you can loosen and rotate the nut holding the camera to fix the alignment it takes longing. trial and error 3) An undocumented third wire comes out of the wiring harness with a small jumper on it, removing this jumper will make a parking grid appear, leaving it there will remove the parking grid.

Pros
  • Video output: 1.0 V, 75 ohms; IP67 waterproof
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
