The grip does not fit well on the 2008 F350.

the grip doesn't fit well on the 2008 F350, I make some adjustments to use the part, I can't even see the hitch ball because of the angle, the picture on the camera is not HD and the screws can break easily

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Some little things

So far so good with this camera

So far everything is fine with this camera. The most difficult thing about the F-150 is the installation location. Cameras with the FORD badge are too expensive, a trunk handle camera is a great option as it is affordable and works well. To route the cable, use a metal bracket to route the cables through the tailgate. Once under the car, feed the cable out from the driver's side, there is a rubber grommet next to the tailgate that you can remove, feed the cable through and then plug it back in.

Pros
  • Consumption: 57 mA; Effective Pixels: 768 x 494 NTSC; Minimum illumination: 0.1 lux; Resolution (TVLine): 48 dB
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

If you want to see the bumper, then this camera is not for you

It fits my 2008 F150 XLT Supercrew 4x4 well, but there are a few small issues: 1) The camera isn't tilted enough to see the bumper or hitch. In the photos accompanying Todd Begin's review, the bumper is barely visible on the far left and right of the screen, but in my installation the bumper is not visible at all. The bottom edge of the image is about 6 inches from the bumper. I also tried the hitch and it is not visible either. If I had known that, I would not have bought this camera. Now that

Pros
  • Video output: 1.0 V, 75 ohms; IP67 waterproof
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
