I used it on iPhone Xs MAX. I was shooting in the desert where the sun was very bright. The variable ND setting was great. You can easily and quickly adjust the quantity. I mainly shot video and the ND filter made the colors look amazing. I liked it very much! The only problem with this filter on the iPhone Xs Max is that it doesn't simultaneously cover the phone's wide-angle and telephoto lenses. I had to adjust its position every time I wanted to switch to a different lens. This is very easy, but not practical if you're trying to take something off quickly. This is the only reason the star was removed. It's fairly light so balancing the phone on the gimbal was easy and the stabilizer didn't fail. I used the Movi Freefly Cinema Stabilizer for iPhone. It is well balanced without the need for additional counterweights. However, I had to be very careful with the ND placement. Due to the slight extra weight, the phone had to be placed a little closer to the gimbal pivot point. In some recordings you can hardly see the gimbal on the far right of the picture. Since I'm shooting in 4K and editing in 1080, I can easily crop it without losing anything, but again with some inconvenience. I would not hesitate to recommend this as a very efficient and inexpensive solution for an ND filter on your phone. Just think of the things I mentioned.
