Update August 27, 2021: Yesterday I replaced an older version of the same Dorman part that I installed on my 2005 Odyssey EXL exactly 5 years ago . I've attached a photo showing the same Dorman part from 5 years ago versus the current August 2021 Dorman part. I noticed that there were small changes in the design compared to 5 years ago, namely that the part where the base of the window screws is now made of plastic. It used to be metal. As another reviewer mentioned, the current version doesn't keep the window upright when shutting down. Getting up is no problem. It's just that it shifts from where it should be on the way down. I think this offset is probably due to a small flaw in the design of the metal channel that the window base moves up and down along the Dorman part. This isn't a huge problem as it causes about three or four millimeters of forward shift/tilt when the widow moves top to bottom, but it always seems to sit right when fully lowered or fully raised. Just remember to lubricate the front and rear door passageways with silicone grease and you shouldn't have any problems. The other thing that two other reviewers stated was that they couldn't toggle the automatic on and off to work. According to my 2005 Odessey repair manual, there are at least two methods to reset the auto raise/lower function. One of them requires you to restart the car's computer using the OBDII shop's computer. I can not. The other is a step by step process of turning the ignition on/off while holding the window button etc. I have carefully followed this procedure several times but have not been able to activate the auto raise/lower feature. Note that an earlier version of this part did not have this problem. I don't mind. It's an old car and I'll live with it. As a result, a star was deducted. If I ever get the auto raise/lower working I will post an update. Update August 22, 2021: Due to a hard hit/shock on the inner door panel, work has stopped. Haven't had a chance to look into this yet, but based on the sound of the unit failing, I suspect the cable is broken. So I used it for exactly 5 years. Not that bad. I read that they have a "lifetime guarantee" so I'll check that out. Will be updated after repair. (FYI, I wasn't looking for a warranty so I just paid and got the part back). Update January 2019: It's been over 2 years now and this thing still works the same as when it was first installed. I will add (after reading several other negative reviews on this product) that it is not as good as the original Honda part. It seems to work a little slower and the motor is a little louder. When I installed this I made sure to lubricate the rails where the window moves (I used a very thin coat of silicon grease) and only applied a light lube wherever I saw moving parts (although it was dated Factory pre-lubricated it would Double check during installation doesn't hurt I think it's time to re-oil the windows but so far so good it's working really well.
