I bought this as my bedside alarm clock and couldn't be happier. WHAT I LIKE: [+] It comes with an AC adapter but can be powered from a USB port! My bedside lamp has USB ports so this is perfect! [+] It has an extra battery backup with 2 AAA batteries which is perfect as my bedside lamps are connected to a wall switch so sometimes we flip the wall switch which cuts the power. to the lamp and this clock, but I don't lose the mood because of battery backup! [+] Easy to read time with large numbers on a crystal clear LCD screen. [+] It has a brightness slider that makes it very easy to change the brightness. On the maximum setting, it works like a night light. too bright for my liking but you can make it really dark or even not show the time! the alarm clock is off or on. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: [-] It beeps when the alarm goes off. I wish there was a way to turn off the beep when changing settings. Conclusion: 5 out of 5 stars. This is the perfect bedside alarm clock.
